G. S. Joseph Haylock
Founder & Director, Sports for Christ Ministries
Joseph Haylock is the Founder and Director of Sports for Christ Ministries, bringing a rare combination of athletic expertise, ministry depth, and entrepreneurial vision to every program SCM delivers.
Joseph holds a Bachelor of Arts in Church and Family Ministry and an Associate of Arts in General Business, both from God’s Bible School and College. His academic foundation reflects the dual calling that defines his work — building strong character alongside strong athletes.
With over a decade of experience across multiple sports, Joseph is an IAAF Level 1 certified Track and Field coach and an IVBF Level 1 certified Volleyball coach. His volleyball career spans 12 years, including three years as a collegiate captain and seven years coaching at the high school level — a tenure that produced four PSA High School Volleyball Championships with Wesleyan Christian Academy. He has also dedicated ten years to football coaching at both the primary and high school levels, adding a PSA High School Football Championship to his record.
Joseph brings seven years of school-based leadership experience, having served as a Supervisor at Wesleyan Christian Academy — three of those years as Athletic Director, overseeing the school’s sports programs at an institutional level.
Joseph’s commitment to service extends beyond the field. He served the Church of God at West Bay, Cayman Islands for seven years — first as Deacon, then advancing to Elder — and currently pastors the Church of God at Breakers, Cayman Islands. His pastoral heart is the foundation of SCM’s mission: to use sports as a vehicle for character development, community impact, and Christ-centered values. Founded in 2024, Sports for Christ Ministries is the natural convergence of everything Joseph has spent his life building.
Juliferd M. Dineros
Coach, Sports for Christ Ministries
Juliferd M. Dineros is a dedicated coach, educator, and servant-leader whose life reflects a deep commitment to developing whole persons — in body, mind, and spirit. With over fifteen years of hands-on coaching experience and a passion for Christ-centered mentorship, Coach Juliferd brings a rare combination of athletic expertise, academic achievement, and ministry heart to Sports for Christ Ministries.
Coach Juliferd holds a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology from the Institute of Creative Computer Technology (ICCT), a Bachelor of Theology from Faith Bible College in Quezon City, and has pursued advanced studies toward a Master in Information Technology at the Technological University of the Philippines. His academic formation is further enriched by theological training through Faith Bible Institute (Monroe, Louisiana, USA) and frontier missionary training with The Paul Mission International — equipping him to serve not only on the field, but also in the harvest.
A certified Taekwondo coach with nearly fifteen years of coaching experience, Coach Juliferd has trained athletes and students across multiple disciplines including basketball, volleyball, table tennis, chess, football, badminton, squash, swimming, and track and field. He has served as a full-time and part-time instructor at prestigious institutions including Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Marikina (PLMar), Famous Christian Academy, and the Cayman Islands Taekwondo Academy, where he also served as Senior Master and Web Designer. His coaching philosophy goes beyond technique — he believes that sport is one of the most powerful arenas for shaping character and instilling discipline.
With over a decade of experience as a teacher and academic professional, Coach Juliferd has served in both sports and technology instruction across schools in the Philippines and the Cayman Islands. Most recently, he served as Assistant Teacher in Physical Education and Computer Studies at Calvary Baptist Christian Academy in George Town, Grand Cayman. His technical skills — spanning web development, multimedia design, and mobile application development — allow him to serve organizations with excellence in the digital age as well as on the court or field.
In ministry, Coach Juliferd serves as a supporting pastor and missionary, faithfully shepherding the flock when called upon, teaching Sunday children’s classes for ages 6 to 13, managing livestreaming and digital media, and even serving as a church bus driver — a posture that captures his servant’s heart in full. His journey across the Philippines and the Cayman Islands is a testament to a man willing to go wherever God leads. At Sports for Christ Ministries, Coach Juliferd channels every dimension of his calling — coach, teacher, technologist, and minister — into the shared mission of using sports as a vehicle for Christ-centered character development, transforming young lives one game, one practice, and one life at a time.
